Long since divorced, he has a smouldering love affair with his neighbor Carmen, wife of policeman, Paco. The only person Manolo really loves, although he rarely sees him, is his teenage son Álvaro, who lives with his mother, Manolo´s ex wife, Cova. Cova and Manolo maintain an amicable relationship for the sake of their son. Always on the brink of the abyss, everything suggests things could get even worse for him when Paco takes an ‘interest’ in him.
